Changing out the Bulky ENO Ropes

I got cinch buckles and straps recently, Need to get some dutch clips

I wanted to ask what the best direction to go with changing out the bulky ropes and heavy Biners to something smaller like Amstel that I can Hitch on the Cinch Buckle.

How should I approach it on the hammock end? Should I use the channel?

    I have a DN.

Thanks much for any advice. Or direction to proper directions/techniques.

A video at the following site shows swapping suspension for whoopies on an ENO. The site (and others like dutchwaregear.com) also sell whoopie slings and other suspension options.

It really is amazing how the DIY projects can be so comfortable. I absolutely love my tablecloth DIY hammocks. The only downside is that they're a bit heavy, even compared to ENO standards. One other upside for the ENO's is the cool two-tone colors.

I worked up an illustration on how to easily and quickly re-thread a gathered-end hammock.

Easiest thing to do is plan ahead. Take the stock eno rope work it around untie the knot and before pulling it out of the channel tie the new cordage on and pull through

I have a couple of enos that I have swapped out to whoopies, I double the whoopie through the channel similar to whats done with the stock suspension. I also use the stock rope to pull through my first pass, I just tie the amsteel to the stock and pull it through.
