    Nice vid! Liked the area you hiked! You found a nice hammock (canopy) to hang in. Always love coming out of a hammock and walk through a palmetto prairie. Thanks for sharing. Nice place to go just a few miles from where you live!

    a friend and i tried to do this hike the other week but ended up at Wekiva River Aquatic Preserve(?) down the street instead which coincidentally did a loop as well, but turned up a few miles shorter ~6mi i guess thats what we get for going without a map or looking up more information :P

    Was it the lower Wekiva loop? I think it is 6 or 7 miles ...I am looking to go out there hopefully next weekend Probably just another overnighter .I like it out there

    no according to the Seminole State page on the forestry site lower Wekiva is on the other side of the river than Katie's Landing but this place was on the same side but i could be mistaken i suppose wouldnt be the first time lol
