    Dutch hook weight limits?

Simple question I know, but I haven't been able to find the answer. Does anyone know how much weight the Dutch hooks are rated to?

Can't recall ever reading about it's weight limit. They are only for tarps so my guess is the tarp would rip before the Dutch Hook would ever fail.

That's what I figured as well but I was thinking if they are possible to use for suspension other than the whoppie hooks.

They are definitely not for suspension.

Dutch Hooks are for Tarps. Dutch Whoopie Hooks are for hammock suspensions. They connect a Whoopie sling to a 7/64" Amsteel that is part of your hammocks suspension.

I assume you mean the Whoopie hooks. I don't have a rating on them because I cant make them break. I have doubled up on 1/8th amsteel and they won't bend.

Dutch- I was actually curious about the Dutch hooks. Do you have a rating for those?

I don't but I have never heard of anyone breaking them. I can't imagine them bending with the intended pupose but i don't use everything for its intended purpose. I will break some and find out. I go back to work on the 2nd so it will have to wait until then.

That is AWESOME! I have whoopie hooks on several sets of my slings and really love the setup they provide. Even cooler knowing that they're nearly indestructible.
