It looks like I'm not going to make it to this one, I have been going with a group on rappelling outings to get ready for canyoneering in Zion this June, and it appears one of our outings is on Sunday the 10th... but I do have pic of my hammock at the Sandstone Castles!

Can you hike out and primitive camp or are there rules for camping in designated area's only? Are there showers and bathroom facilities out there? Or poop in the woods?

Yes, you can hike and camp primitive, The hemmed-in-hollow water fall is a great place to see... about 5 miles if you are hiking in from Kyles...
Kyles landing has vault bathrooms. After March15 they open the other bathroom with showers...

My wife and I will be there. We told some more friends and they're interested but the drive is over 300 miles so they may back out.

Its only 300. I hope they do come. I'm looking forward to meeting and getting ideas from all the people there.

Can anyone send me an address for Kyles landing, directions or anything I can type into my GPS???

The community at the top of the hill is Mt. Sherman, AR. (near Jasper, AR.) That should get you there.

YAHOO!!! #2 daugther's water broke so count me in for sure. I'll bring both kayaks incase someone has the need and would like to get their feet wet. Figure with all of the recent rain/snow/storms we just may get some good water for it.

Took her hubby out golfing yesterday implanting my vast wisdom upon him and told her if she didn't get with the program I'd give him child rearing classes in the very near future.
