Since the HUG is used in conjunction with a TQ, that's a dealbreaker for me. I kick my TQ off winter or summer unconsciously, so there's no way I could keep my legs protected.

Very good point. I mainly think it looks adventurous and plan to take it to a hang coming up for others to check out. I couldn't find much detailed info on here about it, so I'm going to step up to the plate on this one.
Stay tuned, should be here in a week or so. THanks for the comments

I know this is not really the optimal time for testing a bug net, so I will be looking for more info come June or so.
I had no clue he made separate nets. You are forgivin for breakin my rules. The skeeters are in full force here. I live on a river and they never really go away.

I was testing a HUG style net a couple years ago at Trail Days. Even with a fleece liner securely tucked in around me, I had little crawling things going into places they ought not be. NOT COOL!!! In the middle of the night, even the tiniest of critters feel like they're the size of chipmunk's.

For those counting grams, they make sense. I like my zippered bugnet. NOTHING gets in . . . Or out...

I really liked my old Wilderness Logics net that is now with my ex. It's the best commercially available enclosed net in my opinion.

2 oz????? I don't see it listed on the site. You have my curiosity piqued, though.

The 2 oz. is for the tulle which is sold at WalMart. It's 2 oz. cause it has way larger holes which means less mass. It's like stripper panty hose.
Not being a peckerhead, just pointing out. I also have owned a Papasmurf net, and didn't get along with it.

    Hug is next at bat.
