Was curious myself - thought your post was a small trip report at first!

Sorry to disappoint guys. I didn't take any pictures or video on this trip. I'll give a brief run down here. It's not worthy of a separate thread.

The recent Valens hang went quite well. It was a little windy on the Friday. It wasn't cold by any stretch and mother nature was kind to have a few cm's of snow on the ground.

Jayson and a buddy along with Hankster and I were there on Friday. Jayson and his buddy left Saturday mid day and then Keg, Jodster and a new guy Scouter_John showed up.

The park staff was kind enough to cut down a bunch of dead trees on the site. Seems like a ton of branches were downed from wind or trimming. So we took it upon ourselves to clean up the site and burned the branches and cut some of the downed dead trees into firewood. There is still lots of deadfall left for the next people who use the site.

I think the low temperature for the weekend was -2C. Being the last weekend of school holidays, there were quite a few kids there. They had a great time running their toboggans down the hill from the comfort station.

You know guys, you really need to get out to a group hang to see all of the fun you are missing out on.

    Cheers

    Brian

Glad everything went well. I am disappointed I couldn't make it, life has this funny way of messin' with my plans, but maybe someday.....
