But now , how do I give it a different title, instead of the actual site - like "SnideTripod's Videos"

    You can edit your signature from your user control panel.

    as for hyperlinking (with or without custom text) the forum tags you want to use are:

    {url} and {/url}

    {url} denotes the beginning of the tag, and {/url} closes the tag. (Not sure how familiar you are with forum/html marking, so forgive me if I'm explaining things you already know)

    Except don't use the fancy {} brackets, but the regular [] brackets.

    so if you just want the blue underlined clickable link, you would go with:

    {url}http://www.youtube.com/user/snidetripod{/url}

    Again, with regular [] brackets. It will display like this:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/snidetripod

    If you want to add custom text, try this instead:

    {URL="ACTUAL WEB ADDRESS HERE"}CUSTOM TEXT HERE{/URL}

    So in your case, you would do something like:

    {URL="http://www.youtube.com/user/snidetripod"}Snidetripod's Youtube Extraveganza Bonanza{/url}

    And if I change the squiggly brackets in that to regular brackets, it displays like this:

    Snidetripod's Youtube Extraveganza Bonanza

    And that should take you to your youtube channel.

    Short version...use the "Insert Link" button.

    For a "different title"...click the "Insert Link" button, paste link (being careful not to duplicate the "http://") and type the desired text (the correct piece of the link will already be highlighted for replacement).

    When you add a link, part of the text will be highlighted. That's where you rename it, so once you entered a link, just start typing.
    for youtube, type

    Yeah, that is a shortcut.

    If you want to use that, the easiest thing to do is type the custom text you want for the link, highlight it, then click the "insert link" button. Then you can enter in the URL.

    What it spits out is what I posted above - so now you know both ways!

    Judging by your new signature, looks like it worked.

    Is this the same as when someone posts a highlighted word like "here". You click on the word "here" and that is the link? If so, I tried it and I got a message that said it had to be 10 characters.

    Yep, same process.

    The total post count has to be at least ten characters. So if your reply to a post was simply a hyperlinked "here", that's only 4 characters (6 if you count the quotation marks).

    I'm not 100% positive, but I would guess that the tags (the stuff in brackets) don't count in the total character count.
