The DIY forum is under the main heading that says 'hammock camping', and right below it is the label 'hammock specific projects'. So, we do try to be clear.

It was in the Terms that you agreed to when joining, it's stickied in the announcements forum, and it comes up in threads regularly. We simply don't know how to make it more obvious.

It's not an issue though, and the thread was simply quietly moved.

Yep, I skipped 2 coffees one week, and gave the money saved to the forum. Return on my investment has been well worth it.

ROFL, don't you see it? I do!

I dig being a donating member, although new, I feel like the community is more able to receive my value and me receive the communities. I suppose it feels like a better value system overall, and not so much like people will just take what they want and then leave with minimal contribution.

Communities survive on contribution. So that is awesome not matter how you cut it.

In terms if information and enjoyment, definitely, that $10 has now lead to me spending a fortune on kit though.

    A happy gripe?

It's not procrastinating, its proactively delaying the implementation of the energy-intensive phase of the project until the enthusiasm factor is at its maximum effectiveness.

...I will when I'm feeling better,. It isn't anything having to do with our members, and no, I have not had a bad encounter on a hang...and I hope I never do, as I truly love going.

    My muffins were murdered once.

Took me a week to get over it.
