    Bed padding/topper

I got a piece of foam that was on one of the kids twin bed that is 30"x 80"x 1.5". It has the typical egg carton design on one side and flat on the other. If I trim it up to fit in my DL WBRR, shouldn't it work pretty good. At least until my wife finds out she is getting me a Lynx for Christmas. She just doesn't know it yet. I got a Big Agnes Encampment sleeping bag. I got the air pad for the bag but it just doesn't keep me warm in cooler weather. Works great for summer.

The foam is probably open cell foam so it will collapse under your weight leaving cold spots. OTOH if you put into a cover hanging under the hammock it should work well just like the Hennessy setup or an underquilt.
    YMMV
