    snakeskin sizes

    Anybody know the difference in specs between the size 4 and size 3 snakeskins?

    I don't think that HH makes anything other than the size 4 now. I don't have specifics on the differences in sizes, but as I said, I don't think they make anything but one size now.

    I'm just asking because I have a chance to purchase some size 3 snakeskins. I have some 4's but didn't want anything that was too much smaller in diameter. I could handle them being shorter in length though.

    If you're just putting a tarp in them, I don't think you'll have any problem with the size 3.


    I believe the 3 was designed to hold a HH Expedition and Tarp. The 4 for the HH Explorer and tarp.

    Ok, thanks. I'm toting the beefy kelty noah 12, so I might just take my chances that it will fit.

    Hey just a little trivia for people. I tried to work my kelty noah 12 into my size 4 snakeskins last night and wasn't successful. Maybe if I worked at it for a while I could have fit it in but that would defeat the point of snakeskins as a time-saver.
