Convert Whoopie to UCR & Other Questions

I've seen a ton of video's on how to make Whoopie's. I've read every page on the UCR and watched Sgt Rocks latest video on UCR. It seems that over time, many of the problems have been answered, and they're just as reliable as the Whoopie, but have the benefit of using less rope.

I've been looking for a video, or a step by step picture instruction on how to make a UCR. Does anyone know of one, and can point me in the right direction? (Or willing to make a video of them being made.)

Also, I have a set of Whoopie slings already. Can I use them to make a UCR?

Also, does anyone who has pretty good experience with both, have any con's about the UCR?

It is my thought that a whoopie sling could be turned into a UCR just by cutting the adjustable loop about 8 inches from the bury and back stiching it 3 inches to make a stopper and then splice a brummel loop (there is even a way to do a locked brummel with only the one free end) in the now free end.

Sgt Rock has some instructions floating around here somewhere. Although when I followed them I had a case of butt meets ground because one of my fixed eyes came loose. So even though it's not mentioned in his directions be sure to put a locked brummel in the fixed eyes.

To convert a whoopie would be easy.
1 Cut the cord, a few inches past the bury, on the adjustable loop side.
2 on the long end you just cut, splice a fixed eye to go over your msh.
3 wrap the short cut end around the long piece to make the prusik, backsplice it, and your done.

I love Sgt Rock. I've been following the man's web site since 2003. He's one of the most knowledgeable guys in a variety of outdoor subjects. I love my doctor as well, but for some reason, I can't read or follow what they write. I wish I lived back there and was able to hit up one of the hangs there. I would pick Rocks brain all day and all night, so I hope no one feels I'm dissing the man.

Same thing. I watched it twice. I love how that man works. However, for me, my aging eyes and ears make it hard to follow. Once I follow Fallkniven Tutorial below, & make a few myself, I'll watch it again, and claim Rock a God.

fallkniven I just made a tutorial for you and others.

    Fallkniven, you're the man.
This is exactly what I was looking to see & needed to know. Outstanding job and thank you so much for taking the time and effort.
