That's a beautiful place! Have fun!

Oh, don't forget to fill out the survey afterward for the State Park System.

I made sure I asked the ranger, He had no idea about the pilot system going on.

But he didn't care about the hammocks at all.

On our way back to 'civilization' we had a blast.

Couple difficulties, the ranger claimed the river spot for us, then gave it to someone as we were IN THE STATION to some other guy, thinking it was us.....then gave us instructions that weren't on the map to the watering hole site, which caused us to get turned around, which made us do a whole lot of extra hiking.

But we made it. Had a blast regardless. I took photos and videos, ill get them posted up when I get home.

It was myakka state forest, which isn't listed on the pilot fill out sheet.

Nice 1st Hang Pix and nice trip report.
I have spent a number of different nights hammock camping in Myakka State Forest. Either "Bee Island" or on the other end of the park land, "Panther Point" areas.
Looks like everyone survived and made the most of it. Good to see.

Looking forward to meeting you at the Florida Hang this coming weekend.
