My Exped Scout Tarp extreme w/ extra door pulls added

So getting ready for the 2nd Annual Oregon Winter Hang I prepared my tarp for the winter conditions by adding 4 pull outs to act as the door hinges and 4 side pulls made with contact lens caps. 14 Tie outs in all.

Great looking rig. I really like the contact lens case pull outs. Need to steal my wife's contact cases to make a set for myself.

Can you please explain what you did with the contact lens caps? How did you use them to make the side pullouts?

take a two lense case. cut the center in half so you have four pieces total. place screw portion on inside and cap on outside. drill hole in cap(not on the hammock) and thread line in. tie a stopper knot. and assemble

my thoughts on how he did it. might be wrong

First of all that looks really cool. But the first thing that came to mind is the look on the face of the first tent camper to see that rig and say to himself "how the hell is that tent levitating"!

Want to say the pull outs worked perfectly I had a nice space and got the doors completely closed up. This was at the Oregon 2nd Annual Winter Hang
