Nice mod, but my question is if the bag was already attached why detach to reattach? Just curious, but I like. Nice work.

Very cool! I will have to do this to my double nest

Great job! The stuff sack on the side of the hammock has never made any sense to me (other than as a pocket to drop other stuff in). Definitely replace that bulky rope with some amsteel. You won't save much weight, but you'll lose a lot of bulk. Thanks for posting the pictures!

Nice work there. I was lazy and all I did with mine was snip a bit off a corner and used a lighter on the edges. Not pretty but it works.

Very nice. I really like this idea.

This is an excellent idea. Can be applied to any stuff sack with any hammock really. I like this because you dont have to put your suspension webbing back in the bag with the hammock and potentially getting it dirty or sappy.
Did Martin's bishop bag mod yesterday and it worked perfect. Used a seam puller from the wife's sewing kit to get the bag off. Used a brass grommet but made sure there weren't any rough edges to snag on things. This is a great mod., now that I have a ridge line there's no need for the pocket, so why not make it a bishop bag. Now there is no way it will hit the ground when hanging, simply clip the biner on one end and pull out the hammock from the other, perfect.
