2nd Annual Oregon Winter Hang Report

    Just back from the Hang..

21 people came to camp in the snow! Thanks for all coming out, met many new people this year that I hope stick around.

Beautiful warm days with clear sky's. Low temps kinda varied depending how close to the lake you were. Both night average was 22-25 degrees, Slugbait had the lowest of 17 degrees down by the lake Saturday night.

We made just over $300 in our raffle for Homes for our troops so that doesn't suck either. I am sure plenty of photos are about to follow.
Thanks again everyone see ya on the next one!

Now to see if I can make the Central Washington Winter Hang! Anyone else interested?
    Feb 15th weekend.

It sounds like it was a great time. Sorry I couldn't make it work to get up there. Perhaps next go round.

Yea it was a blast. Thanks to everyone for such a great time. The pulk will be great for my wife and kids for use outdoors. Trying to make secret plans to take my wife out to a fully enclosed shelter in santiam pass soon with it.

It was a blast. The comradery was great. The views were to die for. I am very grateful that we did not go back to glissading after we started drinking. I really did not want my last words to be "Hold my beer, watch this."

Seriously it was a great time. Thank you to Gary for pulling it together.

Yeah its rather frozen this time of year.. I am planning a smaller return trip where I will camp on the other side so I can wake up to that view and to see the sun rise over the mountain!

Fun trip, we had 21 degree reading near the lake on Saturday night. This was my first winter trip, and I liked it a lot. It was great to meet so many fun and positive people.

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Gary and all the people who made this trip possible.
