    Just got home - whew!

Dirty & tired & happy & home again. And missing y'all already.
Jeep's unloaded (THAT took some effort!) and the dogs are sleeping (no effort at all).

    Some important thank you's.
First and most importantly: Thank you to everyone who came and participated and just hung out! We are an incredible community and it was very heartening to step back a couple of times this weekend and observe everyone just being together.
Thank you Richtorfla - for your tireless efforts and inventive methods to make the Florida Hang the incredible food festival it has become famous for.
Thank you LilRicky - for producing a great raffle with great prizes. And for being the airport rescue ranger when help was needed.
Thank you to our raffle sponsors - for helping to make FH3 a hit! (LilRicky, please do a post listing all the sponsors. Everyone should know who's taking care of us!)
Thank you OldDog - for cooking every morning and doing something special for the kids.
Thank you BlackWolf - for smoking some of the best pork I've ever had and for your support.
And a special thank you to Patches, Arachnayak, D1, D2, D3 and everyone else who helped entertain and tire out Daemon (the husky) and Chloe (the beagle). They appreciated it and so did I! Daemon says to tell you wooo wo wooo.
There are of course countless other thank you's due to many people whose contributions, noticed or unnoticed, made FH3 and tremendous success! THANK YOU ALL! BLESS YOU ALL! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!
Gumbo & I look forward to seeing everyone at FH4.

(And please don't start a planning thread. Gumbo will start one sometime in August)

    .
So many trees, so little time...
We follow where the Swamp Fox guides,
    His friends and merry men are we;
And when the troop of Tarleton rides,
We burrow in the cypress tree.
The turfy hammock is our bed,
Our home is in the red deer's den,
    Our roof, the tree-top overhead,
For we are wild and hunted men.

Thanks to all the organizers and chefs, FH3 was another huge success.
And thanks to Detail Man's custom dinner bell, no one should have missed a meal!

This guy was not on the menu!
