Plenty small, but I'm of the school overcompressing down is not a good thing. In a pack, I keep my down in an 8L stuff sack (double sack and in a trash compactor bag if weather dictates) which is placed in the bottom of the pack. Everything else gets put on top which will compress the down. And at home all down is aired out to dry and then stored as loose as possible.Originally Posted by RED531

Have you determined the average/normal weight on the 30* quilt? Also, how many ounces of fill are put in?
For those of you that are thinking of posting some pics, it would be great if you could include one of a foot pad attached to the foot end. Is is kind of laced on, with shock cord? That intrigues me.
Yes you're right it is laced on. In fact on one of the videos on their site he shows an example of lacing it with shock cord...very cool!!

what is the down weight and total weight for the 30 degree top quilt?
I just got my 30 deg top quilt today. Lovely quilt. 580 grams on my bike scale...
