    Hanging in the Wasatch Mountains!

    Hello Fellow Hangers!

I'm a new member who got interested in a hammocks after a backpacking friend let me spend a night on his hammock. I'm a resident of Salt Lake City with interests in backpacking, landscape photography, and home brewing.

I just sewed my first whipped end hammock and am working on making a multi-purpose rain fly. Thanks to the community here for getting me started, the amount of information here has been amazing!

Wow, major envy from back in MS! I used to hike/backpack those mountains and the Uintas, but I never got to hang a hammock there. Welcome to the forums!
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

Welcome from just around the point of the mountain. Plenty of places to put that hammock to use around here.

Enjoy the mountains while you're here! There are plenty of places to hang, and a few good places to drink as well.

Hello down there! I'm going to start working just off the alpine freeway in June so we might be neighbors.

At this point I guess there's only one question, Red or Blue?
