That will teach me to always pack Amsteel in my carry-on!
    Clever! Will try. How small?

    PVC
I see the pvc as being too slick to provide enough friction to hold the hitch without slipping.

It worked for Timberrr, although required 2 half hitches.

The pair Timberrr and I made using PVC held me just fine if you use two half-hitches to create a clove hitch. Granted I only weigh about 130, but I did bounce around in the hammock quite a bit during the test.

CPVC has a thicker wall letting you use a smaller T fitting

    Drip Ring

Are you able to get it under your tarp? My CL's coming off my hammock are short enough that it's under the tarp. Right now, I'm using a Dutch whoopie hook (Attached to UCR's) which is suppose to act as a drip ring as well.

Of course, you could always tie a piece of cloth the old way which was fine.

    3. its radical and you'll be the coolest at the next group hang
    4. more?

    Cons:
    1. slower to adjust than a whoopie (but not by much)
    2. keeps your mouth off the amsteel (i've seen hangers use their teeth
to hold the hammock rig while adjusting the whoopie and amsteel is
    probably rough on the enamel
    3. Dont loose that fancy Dutch Ti toggle! yes something else to keep up with
and harder to fabricate in the field compared to a MSH
    4. more?
I love this idea but I'm not really sure how it's an improvement over Whoopies or UCRs.
Can anyone list the top selling points?

I had that same thought last night when you were asking about the safety of the small radius. I had even typed a reply out on my iPhone and deleted it until I thought more about it! Would a copper T work if the hole was large and smooth enough?

As far as slickness, can you rough up the pvc with coarse sandpaper, or even paint with a thin coat of flat spray paint? Just an idea.

You have one cord instead of 2 so its lighter than a whoopie and a UCR
Amsteel for one whoopie can make 2 of these.
Doesn't have a minimum hang distance like a whoopie (ie the length of the bury)
    and its NEW
