Table cloth hammock question

Ok; I have gone from the king sheet thought to a 90x132 or 156 table cloth. Just wondering those who have done this; did you fold it to make a 45x132/156 or leave it 90x132/156?

I was thinking folding it so it was 45x132/156 (most likely 132) so I could put an underquilt or something for warmth between the two layers and also thought it would be stronger/more support.

Mine is 90 and I wouldn't change a thing. The jury is still out with many who feel the extra width doesn't add anything, but having used the 60 and the 90, I'm still very partial to the 90. If you are UL than 90 will be heavy, but then the tablecloth wouldn't be ideal to begin with if you were UL.

I agree, and if you want a dual layer you can get 2 and stitch 3 sides. Thats what I did.

I found that the 90 was overkill, but lots of people love them. They are definately nice to lounge around in.

I like my 54"? Width, whatever the smaller option is... Single layer has held 250 lbs swinging from the trees pretty hard... I love it for winter packing as the fabric is warm, summer it may not be ideal, but that's why they make WWM...

90" IS excessive.

Beautiful, wonderful, lovely excess. I have floppy sides sometimes, sometimes I'm pretty sideways watching tv. On weekends I end up with me, my grandaughter and my 50 pound dog in there. A cat joins us every once ta while too.

But you can get by with less. I went my first year with 60 inches and use that one in bug free zones while camping, when the weather is warm. My WBBB when it isn't.

If you are going to make this your camping hammock, I would buy the two 60's and bind them together. You'll be comfortable and not quite as heavy. Shoot, a double 90 is the same as a tripple 60.

90" may be excessive, but, with a 11' or longer (thinking of samsara's 90x13) you can pretty much lay crossways of the thing and that is a wonderful place to be, not to mention that your TQ will not fall out.
