Thanks for your service, 1Arm. We love you for your sacrifice and welcome to the forums.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, ďBut now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, ďThere is peace and security,Ē then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)

Dude!!! Welcome to the forums! (Didn't take you long after your first hang)

I am glad you had such a great trip and are now "enlightened" to the wonders of hammock camping. Tell your wife I am sorry

I had heard about hammock camping and was interested and a really good friend offered to let me borrow his rig to try out. I wanted to see if I could setup one handed or maybe with a little help or modification. Letís just say I have found my long lost friend. I am now looking to get into this a lot more. I trying to look around and get a feel for what might work for me in gear (hammock, tarp, backpack ect). Iím very interested in the War bonnet Blackbird so I think thatís a start. I look forward to learning lots and getting back into camping

Welcome from Myrtle Beach. If you know Junebug then you are in good hands. I hope. Be careful, this stuff is a major addiction.
Leave me alone, I'm only talking to my dog today.

I may be outnumbered, but never outmanned.
