    Here's what I did today....new hammock

    I bought some fabric on the FS section. After trimming it up and hemming the edges it ended up being 10'5"x63". It's 1.4 ripstop. I sewed channels in the ends, but ended up whipping it. I had enough to make a stuff sack for it too guess where I'm sleeping tonight.

    Glad that stuff worked out well for you! That last little scrap on it was just the right size for the sack, it seems.

    You'll like it; that 1.4 oz is just the right weight fabric to lie on.

    Thought your fence top pole was your ridgeline at first...I was wondering, "Why in the heck is that so high off of the hammock?" 'till I looked a little closer...
