I just purchased some camo fabric from walmart. It was 1.95 a yard.... Its working great, Its a little heavier then it needs to be, but I was able to make one hammock and 4 stuff sacks out of 4 yards. I also did the table cloth one as well.... equally as nice.
It's a polyester fabric called Taselite. I've done several projects with it and it's nice stuff. A bit heavy, but not overweight.

200d fabric is way too heavy for a hammock... 70d is what I would use....

+1 Diygearsupply.com I bought 2nds 1.1 ripstop nylon from Scott for dirt cheap. I made a double layer out of it and it came out pretty good.
Jo-Anne fabrics has some good deals sometimes too. Check online at their store front for coupons. They usually have a good coupon you'll regret not bringing. All I've seen there in 1.9 oz ripstop nylon, but your store may be different.
