    Hammock

If you get more fabric or decide to do more I would love to buy a complete set. This will be my first hammock.
    Thank you

The last small handful of hammocks will ship next Thursday or Friday as the second roll of fabric shipped out late and won't be here until early next week (all those, except for one, were initially told it would probably be next week so everyone is about where they should have expected).

Thanks all for the support! This has been an extremely enlightening (and exhausting) project. I'm taking pictures and notes along the way and plan to share lots of details/behind the scenes stuff.

I REALLY appreciate all the support.

My package arrived today and it looks like I have some hammocks to make Thanks for the hard work getting it out the door. Looking forward to the report about how the project's go for the scouts.

My fabric arrived today as well. I guess we need to appreciate Saturday mail service while we've got it.

Got mine yesterday. Now I have to decide what I'm going to do with it, especially since my hammock is ACU camo...so is the hammock sock.
Too good of a deal to walk away from. Thanks.

Tracking was showing mine to be delivered yesterday, still haven't seen it. It is closer, at least it's in the state. Guess it'll be here Monday.

I have made several gathered end hammocks, so this time, I'm going to change things up a little. I'm doing one of the channel ends with a continuios loop or dog bone through the channel, like the ENOs are made. And I'm going to add a bugnet with a zipper on both sides. I tend to switch left and right directions when sleeping. Putting a zipper on both sides means I don't have to worry about which way I set it up, or which side I get out on. It will also allow me to reach out both sides and adjust the UQ. Waiting another couple of days for the fabric is not a big deal, as I am waiting until payday to order my net and zipper from DIY Gear Supply.........RR

Glad to hear others are arriving safely. For the few other requests - I'm still evaluating if I'll have any left. If I do, I'll post in a new thread.

We'll make these in our troop meeting the second week of March, so a full write-up should come out around then.
