Grand daddy basin in the uintas is a just over 4 mile hike into main lake. Another nice car spot is tonys grove but that is all the way north. I should be available in June an am good for most spots.

I'm in! June works good for me too barring anything major coming up between now and then. I'm in Clearfield so the "North-er" the better but can travel too, no worries.

    Looking forward to meeting everyone!

So I'm gonna call it for the weekend of June 7th. Some can come early, some can stay late but it looks like it will work for quite a few of us. I'm partial to the Escalante area, it has a lot of area that could be fun to explore.

I think right now I can swing that weekend as well...I will probably do arrive friday bug out tuesday morning but may swing an extra day possibly. There is a good chance that my oldest boy will be tagging along on this one...he will be nine next month. Have to see if he can earn it. but he really wants to go to a "hang"

Take a look at this site. This is where Muse and I were talking about last spring when we were down there. It looked like it would work for a good sized crowd. It's able to be reserved for up to 15 vehicles and 100 people. LINK

Lots of trees and is currently available for those dates.

If you want the Escalante area, then let's make that happen. I think I can be there 6/6-6/9. I can also change my schedule a little and offer a ride to someone heading south if necessary.
