    Hello from Portland, Maine

    Hello All,

I just completed my first DIY hammock this weekend. I think I'm hooked. I'm looking forward to doing some bike touring this summer and I can't think of a more comfortable way to get a nights rest than in a hammock!

Welcome aboard from Florida. Planning on trying to put a hang or two togeather this summer while up in the Frankfort, ME area. Looking forward to maybe meeting and hanging with some of the New England Forum Family.

Welcome from the West coast. I have to say that Portland Maine is a place that I will have to consider for retirement. We love it up your way. Enjoy your hanging in your beautiful part of the world.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.

Mad777: I really enjoy Dimillo's too, especially the scallops!

olddog: I would enjoy something like that. I have never done anything along the lines, but I'd love to give it a shot. Please keep me posted or point me in the right direction of a thread that will.

Labrador: I agree that Portland is beautiful and I am thankful to be living here!

Welcome, Good. I enjoyed the two years I lived in Maine.

Want to visit again some day.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)
