Tim does a mighty fine job. I've had mine lower 20's and had no issues with my top quilt. I even have the matching underquilt and I must say therrrrrrrre Great.

Any worries with the baffles stitching not touching?

I absolutely love my 40* Prodigy. Its soft and comfortable and is warm down to the advertised temp. They can also be used as an underquilt.

    Here's a review.

My understanding is that the openings are so you can move down to certain spots that are needed. Is this easy to do? Or even necessary?

That right. I normally shake my quilt after unpacking from the pack and when it's time for bed I just climb in. I don't even worry about where down need to be because the down is usually at the right place.

Like sargevining said its quite warm and cozy. That a plus from me too

Here is a review of the RevX

Another plus is now he is including a stuff sack and storage sack with the new orders.

While you are there ordering if your ordering be sure to grab one of these nice shirts he is now offering. I just ordered one with free shipping he is offering.
