The 20 rated RevX can be a bit too warm in balmier weather.
Good temp, 14 is prob the lowest I will see in TX. Every once and awhile a 0 happens but rare....

If the quilt was only stuffed for say 40*, then the down would shift off the highest point, like the user's hip or chest. Higher fill volume forced more of the down to stay put so the warmer versions weren't affected. The baffle spaces are smaller on the new quilts to address that issue.

The Revelation is very similar in build to the Prodigy, it's just a matter of fill. The Revelation series is down with Karo step baffles. The Prodigy is done with Climashield. If you have any trouble with the quilt you choose, Tim will do right by you and make you one that will suit your needs. All of my quilts have shipped on the day I was quoted when I purchased them. Nothing bad to say about EE.
Thanks for the info, much appreciate it....Sounds like Tim is a great guy to work with.....

I agree with you, I hope to get one right before this next winter....

Everything Tim touches turns to gold. Been using his quilts since 2007 (own or have owned at least 10 items from EE, ranging from top quilts/under quilts, dog quilts, t-shirts and hiking sporans) and they are still going strong. Good quality gear at great prices

PS--Those t-shirts are the best logo shirts I have ever worn from ANY cottage shop, especially the performance one! Also, he can add a zipper to his kid's Prodigy synthetic quilt so it becomes a zip-in-half dog quilt (for easy packing in dog saddle bags--patent pending).

I just ordered and EE revolution. I am a small (5'4, less then 150 lbs) sort of person, and he was able to fit me with a 30 degree top quit that is essentially a longer junior size to cut down on fabric I wouldn't need.

    Great seller to work with.
