Here's where I get mine, after trying other sources and finding they had odors or were too costly, etc--

    http://www.bugspraycart.com/insectic.../permethrin-10

$35 for 32 oz of concentrate. You can do a lot of gear and clothes, more than once a year, with this much. Of course, you can order larger or smaller amounts.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU KEEP IT OFF YOUR CATS! It will kill them until it dries, then it's safe.

Thanks for posting this about it being safe for cats once it is dried. I was fixing to move my stuff into the garage to keep it away from them but it should be ok. I spray it outside, let it air dry and hang out for at least 24 hours before I bring it inside. I was doing it in order to reduce the smell but it is also dry before I put it away.

Thanks for this link, I just ordered some, $11 shipping was a bummer, but It still seems like a good option.

I agree, but one reason I go ahead and order a larger quantity, to make it worthwhile in the long run.

Thanks for the link RainMan, I got it at amazon. Will make 5 gallons of diluted spray, should do everything for my wife and I for the year. I did not use P for a long time, now with all the vector type diseases out there, the risk to benefit ratio makes sense to me.
Revolution is about the need to re-evolve political, economic and social justice and power back into the hands of the people, preferably through legislation and policies that make human sense. That's what revolution is about. Revolution is not about shootouts.

I've been using the Sawyers from Wallys for my clothing, the Permethrin-10 from Tractor Supply does have more odor (I used to spray my dog kennel areas with it after I quit using Malathion).

The odor did seem to dissipate after a while but I have just never tried it on my clothing or hammock.

I picked up a gallon bottle of .5% permethrin from Home Depot last year was Bed Bug killer and had a purple label. Seems they no longer have the same product as this year all I have found is .2% permethrin when I've gone to look for it.
