This is a bit off subject, but anyone have the links to any good DIY hammock stand tutorials. That is something I may look into.

This hobbly is much more affordable than golf or chasing women and you don't need to ride in a silly cart or get tested.

I guess there are some very big trout out in the river by Bismarck. I've never fished in North Dakota. Only trout I've ever caught were in Minnesota in stocked lakes. Some day I want to target Lakers up in the BW

    So true Dutch.

And it does get better. That said within the last couple of days I have ordered:

HammockGear 20 * Burrow and top quilt
    Warbonnett Traveler Sock
    Handy Hammock stand
3 AntiGravityGear Sleeping Bag Storage Sacks
    3 knives

And I still want to order a Warbonnett Traveler Sock in multicamo with 2 zippers and a PolarPod with 22 ounce of over stuff.

And then there is all the stuff I have not yet thought about.

Anyway, it is by far the cheapest hobby I have ever had. And considering that I am full time hammocking, it is a lot of value for the buck.

    Best of wishes,
    BlazeAway

It does get more affordable, until this ^ guy makes some new gizmo or piece of hardware, then it's back to the checking account.

For me, it did get better. Still make the occasional purchase, but now it's not costing as much. I have my quilts, and make my own hammocks. I had a 600 ft roll of amsteel, and a new roll of zing-it, but it does go quickly.

Currently, I just bought some material for a new DIY hammock, and ordered some no-see-um netting to make an attached bug net, which I have never tried.

But all the small purchases add up, if your keeping track, which I try not too........RR
