    Question DIY aluminium suspension buckle?

I have been looking for a specific kind of suspension buckle for a long time with no luck. Now I'm wondering how difficult it would be to DIY something. The form I have in mind is basically the JRB Tri-Glides with an added triangle at the end. The finished buckle would be a bit like the Elephant Trunks, but without the 3rd slot and the open "trunk". The whoopie slings would be permanently spliced into the triangle (the adjustable end).

If a buckle like that already exists, I'd be happy to hear. I prefer to buy this type of equipment rather than DIY.

    Re: DIY aluminium suspension buckle?

    Is it something like this?

I know it's stainless and have no idea of a weight rating or if it could be used for suspension at all but I think it looks like what you are after.
Here is the link http://owfinc.com/hardware.html and it is under steel sliders.

It would look roughly like this, but instead of a movable middle bar a fixed one:

Basically think JRB Tri-Glides with a Warbonnet cinch buckle triangle fixed to the end.

The Warbonnet cinch buckles would only be my 2nd choice.
