Our daughter is 7 and while we haven't overnighted with her in the hammock yet, we're now ready to do so (well... once husby's Edge tarp gets here anyway). She's already crawled into it every chance she gets during 'testing' either on the back porch our out and about. Kids and hammocks are natural attractants.

My 10 yo asked if we could go, I made her a gold hammock, going to make her a Fronkey bug net next, my 5 yo has a hammock hanging from her bunkbed, we took out the bottom bed a hung the hammock.
The best things happen at the worse possible time.

It(I) might not be the prettiest thing, however It(I'm) is quite functional.

SON: Dad why do I have to make my bed? It is just going to get messed up again.
DAD: Why do you wipe your bottom.

Just made a table cloth hammock and my son and I selpt in the back yard last night. Lots of fun. Now I have to make four more hammocks for the rest of the family.

Took all three of my girls camping last night. Had a blast. My first hang; they slept in the tent. I think after that, they may want to join the hanging crowd.

Awesome pics and thanks for sharing. I got my first hammock last week and my 5 year old son was begging me to let him stay out there with me in it. ( I didn't let him it was cold, and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it...I didn't). Once he gets out there with me, it won't be long before little sister (3 years old) will want to join too!
