    Daughters first hammock camp out

Decided since it was a nice spring like day here in ga to camp out with my 6 yr old daughter. This is her first time sleeping in the hammock and she is already out. Getting up in the am to go listen for some turkeys for opening weekend. Love my little tomboy. Wouldn't change her for nothing !!

Nice when they are little. She will always remember these times. My 24 year old baby girl is always saying remember when and wish we could but she never has the time. And I your daughters upper insulation.

    Adorable.
I will never forget the time I spent with my Dad in the outdoors. He taught me a lot and I treasure the time I got to spend with him.

It's always awesome to see Dad's passing these skills on to their daughters.

Very cool. My youngest daughter (also age 6) had her first night out in the hammock last summer and was immediately hooked. Since then she has "made" me take her hammocking several times. She was so anxious to go hammocking again she wasn't willing to wait for warmer weather and we had to head out on a winter overnight to the state park. (Combined trip report)

Getting out there and having fun makes for some great times and many enjoyable memories. Congrats, and good luck on many future nights.
