Smile Help for my first hammock!

Very new to all of this and while I have researched a lot I think the best thing now would be advice from enthusiasts!

    I've narrowed my choices to
    ENO doublenest
    Grand Trunk double
    Trek-Light Double

For suspension I am pretty much sold on Grand Trunk Tree Slings. Has anyone used these and have an opinion on them?

From what I'm finding online my 3 hammock choices are very similar, and for me it comes down to pricing. Some have said they can get one for as cheap as $45, how can I do this?

All opinions and words of advice are greatly appreciated!

I do like my Grand Trunk UL though just a touch short but sorry, I do not have any hands on knowledge of your three. Many Eno hangers here though!

All of my friends have ENO's, so I went the road less traveled (and cheaper) and ordered the GT double today!

Now if I could get opinions on the GT Tree Slings I'd be set.

I dont have any experience with the double, but my single nest is built nicely and if it were wider and perhaps a bit longer id like it more because I am tall. The thing I like about ENO hammocks is their "max weight" as compared to the weight of the hammock is really good.

I'm enjoying my GTUL...seems to do the trick for now. Campmor.com had them on sale for $13 a pop when I got mine.

I was just curious if you had plans for a ridgeline and any type of bug netting. I see with your 3 choices that none of them come with either of those things.

As you research bugnets and ridgelines, you may find that cost-wise, you may be better off with a Hennessy Zip or Warbonnet hammock. There are other hammock manufacturers out there, but I own these two. After the cost of the hammock, add the whoopies, ridgeline and bugnet, you may be just as well off, cost-wise.
