WTB: looking for Gransfors Bruks mini

    Hey all-
I'm looking for a GB mini hatchet. I know I can order one from eBay for 140 bucks but its shipped from Germany .

Figured I would put out a feeler here first to see if there was one somebody a bit closer was willing to part with.

Drop me a pm if you've got one you aren't using.

    Thanks!
    ~Liz

I can pick one up for 85 euro's (shop within walking distance) and send it to you. Make your own calculations; echange rates and shipping cots. I am willing to help you out, if it is interessting for you.

    This place has them.
I have ordered several things from here and have always been happy with their CS.

I am surprised by the amount of money you people have to pay for Gransfors Brusk. The price at webshops in the Netherlands for a mini is 78,80 which is just over $ 100.

If you order from outside the EU, you do not have to pay VAT (BTW in Dutch). The price without tax is 65,12 ($ 84), which leaves a lot to spend on shipping!

Have a look at http://www.bijlen.nl/ (bijlen = axes)

There may be also Swedish websides you could try.

They sell the mini at Smoky Mountain Knife Works, but I think it is around $170 there, plus shipping if ordered from their website. I love that place and its right in my back yard!

I know not really a big help, but check your local pawn shops. I picked up a GB Wildlife axe for $2.50 (no I didn't forget any zeros, nor did I put the decimal point in the wrong place) at a pawn shop in town. They obviously had no idea what they were selling.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Congrats on that for sure!

I have been looking for one of these at a good price for a couple years. They seem to be going up and up in value. I bought a GB #415 on ebay for $30, but it is bigger, weighing close to a pound. For some reason the #415 can be found new for under $100 too.
