It doesn't have to be hard to get the kids off the ground

Took the kids out for a few hours on Easter Friday. They always want their "hammocks" up.

Just para-cord wrapped sleeping bags so far.

Can't wait to see their faces when their HH Scouts arrive next week

    Three year old not cooperating...

Six year old is more up for photos. She actually fell asleep. Coming down off a major sugar rush?

Had to laugh at that--they rarely do when you want them to! They do look like they are having fun.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

Brilliant improvised hammocks you made there! One of them has even got a ridgeline. It looks like the kids love’em to bits! You’ll never get them out of their brand new HH Scouts! Add a couple of photos of them trying out their new hammys.

We just got a HH Scout for our 7.5 yo Buglet. Heavier fabric, mesh, & zipper = more weight/volume than our other hammocks, but honestly given the abuse kids dish out that's probably just the ticket.

I had her in a GTUL for an overnighter a couple weekends ago and that was a positive hazard, as a full sized sleeping bag tends to want to 'ooze' out of the tiny hammock. We tried her + sleeping bag in the HH Scout and that looks like it's a whole lot safer.

It's hard to go light when you bring the kids anyways IMO. They require so much gear and carry so little
For anything longer than a 1-nighter I always take them in the canoe instead. Solves the weight and bulk issues.

Very nice. I can't wait to get out again with my daughter. Gonna wait till it gets warmer though.
