    Talking Ugliest Hammock

    OK, who's got it? I wanna see it...Who's got the Ugliest Hammock Shelter System out there? Don't hide it, lets see it. I'm talking: mismatched colors, DoDo Browns, Puke Greens, Lime Green Amsteel, blue tarps, you know what I'm talkin' bout.

    We all understand that functionality trumps style when it comes to backpacking gear but sometimes style really gets left behind.

    Post your pictures and let's see who owns the Ugliest Hammock Shelter System.

    Disclaimer: Its just for fun, it's not meant to insult anybody or their hammock shelters.

    Granger at one time has a royal blue and grey bridge hammock and a safety orange and royal tarp.

    I imagine I can find a nice fuscia and turquois floral print at the thrift shop that could be transformed into a very....ah....special hammock. But I guess that would be considered cheating.

    I am sorry but any ugly hammock is much more beautiful that the most "pretty" tent. So can there really can't be a ugly hammock

    My ENO is orange with silver trim. I wanted to make sure I knew head from tail each time when I put my UQ on (it's head end is stuffed thicker). I have an orange Whoopie sling on the head end, and grey on the other. My ridge line is bright day glow yellow. Of course my Hennessy hex tarp is dark nasty green, and it's hang rope is bright day glow pink paracord...The quilts are olive green on the outside, which hides most of the orange of the ENO.

    Pretty fugly.

    There was an Old Man with a owl,
    Who continued to bother and howl;
    He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
    Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl
