Thanks for showing the use of the older WB UQ.

Next vid request=the tarp you will use with the RR and its setup please.
Thanks again for a fantastic vid.
For sure. Need to mess with it and my tarps since I do not own the Cloudburst that is designed for that hammock. Mucho obligato.

Just want to thank you for your posts and getting this guy back to the woods.

Good review there of a good hammock. I like mine quite a bit. Got on of the single layers with net and one without. I do enjoy stretching out for a afternoon snooze.

One thing on the buckles....do not put in a half hitch! It can cause the webbing to be pulled out of alignment in the buckles. That could cause to much load on to little webbing....very bad for staying airborne through the night.

Good to know on the half-hitch. I have been tickled that they stay without.
It is a well thought out hammock.

Shug, if you have the Superfly, I'd check out Tendertoes pole mod. Saw it in action at the recent Ohio Hang and it converted me immediately, Superfly should be in the mail today. Really opens it up and you have no worry of the RR damaging the tarp

Great show as usual. I like the saddle bags on the side. I might add one to side of my old bridge. Keep us entertained till the next time I can join you on a hike.

Exactly the way they were designed. no half hitch and no slip.

I do pack with mine. Done a good day hike to soot some video of our quilt that's made for it and I took it on my Grand Canyon trip last month.

There is a weight trade off to use it but when you look at quilts like the lynx or RidgeCreek versus others they are able to save weight by being narrower. Then if you were to use your hiking poles for spreader bars they become a weight savings and dual use. So you get closer to a wash versus hiking with a BB for example. Against a small light GE then no your probably not saving any weight but the comfort for me of the RR is enough to justify it.

No Superfly but I got several tarps to play with and I have a pole mod in one of them. Had them over my Grizz-Bridge before. Silnylon would be my preffered tarp over a bridge as I popped a hole in my Cuben with the GrizzBridge as they pitch so tightly.

Nice....I did not know that you had a UQ designed for the RR. Could I link that video on mine in an annotation?

Yep and we have a few other RR specific accessories in the works too. One may help with the tarp/spreader bar deal
