Question Zing-It Versus Lash-It Cordage, Which To Use

    Inquiring minds want to know:

What are the major differences between zing-it and lash-it cordage; and where/what is the best hammock specific usage of each product?

The reason I ask this is because I see posts where folks seem to use both products interchangeably....but I am sure that there are applications where one product would be superior to use over the other.

Application specific examples would be highly welcomed![

The only difference between the two is the color, otherwise they are the exact same product.

Color.... ZingIt is usually yellow... Lash it is grey.... Pick your color choices... As far as uses... Bear rope, general string, ridgelines, tarp tie outs, stake lines, nacrabiners, you name it and lashit/zingit does it pretty well...

it also comes in red as well (mostly from arborist supplier).

But I used the red Lash it! on all of my tarp ties outs on my hike last year
    and the red faded terribly.

Personally, I like the yellow for my tarp guylines, as it's easier to see.......RR

Like RR, I chose the yellow so I can see it. Even with the bright yellow I still trip over my lines.

I had that yellow paracord with reflective stripe in it thinking you wouldn't trip over it at night if you had a flashlight shining on it, flat on my face a few times.
I guess color is solely a preference.

Nevermind found some. But do you have to buy 180 ft of it. I gues I'll never have to buy it again
