    SlingRings

Does anyone have any experience with rings from SlingRings.com? I'm looking for something to be used with webbing up to 2" and my SMC rings are only 1.5". I've been in contact with the owner who has had some destructive testing done and says the average break point is 700 lb. Prices are per pair and shipping is cheap. Is it too good to be true or did I hit the ring jackpot?

I'm not the only one who has posted on these. (Search on "sling rings" and "slingrings" Here's one thread:

The proprietor goes to the expense of getting is rings tested by specified protocols. Compare twice your weight, though, with the BS they test to. If using just one of these per load, the load factor will be likely be less than 3 (or 5).

Some times I forget about the search function. Thanks. Looks like people have been using them for about 5 years how and I didn't see any big complaints.
