Where is this? A couple buddies and will be heading north from Vicksburg, MS thurs headed toward ne AL, but if weather forecast has high chance of rain, AR is our alternate destination. Any recommendations for scenic wilderness 4day/3night back packing routes?

This is Buffalo Wilderness Area - about 60 minute drive from my house. Very fortunate to have this type of wilderness this close to home. Those trees are too far apart to suspend a hammock.

The Ozark Highland Trail is a great multi-day hike... or you can hike the Buffalo River Trail to see some great vistas above the river and rock formations... or my favorite, do some stategic bushwhacking across the wilderness to find these great waterfalls after it rains. Either route, this is great country. Yesterday, the forest was just about to pop green.. lots of buds and a few dogwoods and red buds starting to flower. I'm guessing this area is about a 6 hour drive from Vicksburg.

I have no words to pass the comment because it has made me totally speechless.I love nature and the person who loves nature first become spell bind and later pass any comment. Fountain between the valleys let you feel that you are in the lap of nature or enjoying some kind of heaven glimpses.
You did good that you caught the shots and kept save through photography.
If you have been not appreciated by any one then accept the millions of admire and appreciation for your talent and aesthetic personality.
