    Granite Gear DreamSack $18.95

I bought one of these. Have not used it yet though. Here is the description from amazon:

Do you want the comfort of a real pillow without the weight? The dreamsack is an ultralight sil-nylon stuff sack with luxurious fleece on one side that is shaped like, well, a pillow. Stuff it with something soft like a fleece or down jacket and snuggle in. Sleep well!!!

The problem I have found with inflatables is that they don't breath and that in turn causes sweating/moisture issues especially in warmer weather.

Repurposing clothing has always been a go to method particularly when backpacking.

I've avoided using down because as previously mentioned, the "downside" of moisture/cleaning while on a trip. And since it has usually been another piece of down gear that was used as the pillow, it was a double "hit" when there was an issue with moisture. And being a "hot" sleeper means this is a frequent problem.

Nowadays, the trips are shorter, often car camping and the weight of a smaller compressible is a tolerable allowance. One thing for certain though, a smaller pillow works better for me in a gathered end hammock. The larger pillows were just too much.

I just pull out an a light weight fleece shirt and roll it up until its comfy and that works great and I dont have to carry anything extra. I always carry a fleece shirt year round just depends on what the expected temps are going to be determines the how heavy or light the fleece is.

I'll be testing out a pillow made by Junebugdawn on my hike in two weeks, it's made from Woodland Camo Ripstop. My current hammock pillow is a Field & Stream hiking pillow from ****'s Sporting Goods, but it's starting to fall apart.

I use a Magellan brand inflatable pillow from Academy Sports. Works well and is only around $7-$8.

Y'all should try the koppen pillow. It's a bit bulky, but light and it has the perfect amount of stuffing.
