I use disposable toggles. That way I don't worry about losing them. I just find a couple 4" sticks when I'm setting up. Then when I break camp, the toggles stay in the piney woods where I found them.

that shug has some good ideas! quick easy and involves no thinking, just the way i like.
I use the mini 'biners that attach my Camelbak holder to my pack (odd pack design). But, if you use mini 'biners that're essential to your packing method (regardless of where you put 'em), you will not get far without remembering them.

I just find sticks in the woods, but my other setup I just used a double larks head knot, which I guess is a weak prusik...presik...(SP?)
