    Talking Rab

I bought one of these and cut the thin matiral and it keeps me very warm. I have taken it down into the 30's.

    Bag

Here is a picture of it in a bag.... It also comes with the white hang bag you see here. This is a very good TQ.

I would go with a sleeping bag if your budget is at $100. I got a nice eurika for $110 rated to 30f. packs quite small in stuff sack and ive got it down to about 25 with comfort actually looking to part with it to save 4 a top quilt. pm me an offer if ya like (like new condition)

Thanks. I have a variety of sleeping bags that I have used as top quilts. What I am hoping for is a used but in good condition top quilt. Perhaps someone who has recently upgraded and is looking to sell one of their older quilts.

Actually, your post was helpful. I think I have decided to go for it and convert a synthetic mummy bag into a top quilt. I dont think its going to be a difficult project. Might as well use what I have and save a bit of money.
