Ah!!! those are the two dates for the new backpacking courses I'm teaching at Western Tech. It would only be 3 hours on Saturday morning but the 20-22 I will be at the La Crosse location which isn't too far from Preston. I'll make it work somehow, may cost a bit in gas. Ha! it wouldn't be the first time I left for work while in the midst of a camp out.

I am still interested it just depends on exact date and location, if I can fit it into my travel/work schedule.

So looks like the weekend of the 13-15 would be out for me and I believe CryoftheWild. We will be at a different symposium.

    WFA---certification

My September schedule is still wide open. I'm very glad that ricecg is putting this together as I've been super swamped recently with two jobs.

For the CPR issue, Adult CPR is a requirement before beginning the course, but we did hike a manakin up to the campsite last time and did an Adult CPR class on site for those that did not have it. We can do that again, and the manikin rental cost can be split by the participants. I will volunteer my time as before.

The cost for the Wilderness First Aid class should be low again as we'll, I'm volunteering to teach it in exchange for some camp food so bring something special to share. You will need the book and foldable sheet that are the materials for the class. If you still have them from the last class you do not need to purchase new ones.

The nice thing about Isinours is that it's free, has trees, and no crowds. The problem is that it is far from everywhere. If there is another location that anyone knows of that might be better, throw out the suggestion and I'll research it.

The weekend of the 7th and 28th of September work for me. I had my dates mixed around for a while but I should be free. If I can't fill my backpacking courses at western tech then I will be free every weekend in september.
