    New hanger here!!

Hello folks, Just getting into the hammock side of camping. The ground just doesn't feel as "soft" as it did when I was a 20 something year old Army Ranger. I mean, I'm still as hard as woodpecker lips, but **** that little pebble that always seems to find it's way right up under my "4th point of contact".

welcome to the madness. I switched to hammocks as I also found the ground to be too hard on this old body.

Welcome from NC also. Yes I spent plenty of times in them GP Tinnyies/Mediums during my career. The Hammocks got me back into camping again.
