I too like how you set the tarp up, very cool. What knot do you use for the hammock suspension?

The tarp and suspension kit looks cool...do you not have any need for a mozzie net - you are in Oz right?

If you mean the knot at the biner, it's just a clove hitch backed up by a slippery half hitch.

Hi, yes in OZ. In the years I have been hanging I have not really had a bug problem.
I do have a HH if I need it but I like to topload.
If the bugs are bad I sometimes put a mozzie coil on a rock under the tarp.

    cheers

Clove hitch, gotcha. I thought it might be a round turn with a half hitch.
I just took notice of your arrow stake, very cool. Think i'll be borrowing a few of your methods. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with everyone else. That is an awesome way to guy out a tarp.

Have I missed your folding/whipping technique?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"
