KAQ replaced SS at 25 degF

This weekend, I spent three nights in my HH with the SS replaced by the KAQ. All was cozy and warm!

I used the GuideGear tarp, and the stock Hennessy fly became my overcover. It helped cut down the wind quite a bit.

P.S. Mr. Prez asked how low the temp has been when I've had the KAQ alone for insulation... for me this was the lowest. Has anyone taken it lower?

I'd like to get pictures of your KAQ for the website if you have any that you'd like to share.

I'll be glad to make some pics for you!

BTW, I found out that a yard of Warm Window is too heavy, or not shaped right, to put inside the KAQ. It works well inside the hammock, although I got too hot and couldn't keep it there. Anything (other than a light SB) inside the KAQ must have it's own suspension, or it will pull the KAQ down and cause air leaks.

I have several in my gallery you are welcome to use; includes the one Mac has (but I'm not sure which one )

In the general vicinity of the one linked to below

Thanks Grizz! I searched the galleries but only found a few with KAQ in the name.
