    I use the snakeskins on the CRL (method #2 above), and find that it is hard to center the tarp while the snakeskins are on (due to friction with the tarp, and some friction with the ridgeline on the tree too). Anyone else have this problem? If so, was there a fix? I was hoping to be able to center the tarp with the snakeskins on so the tarp isn't blowing around in the wind while I center it.

    Nice illistrations. I use something similar with the niteze figure 9.

    To OP's first question. JRB / ie "the Jacks" and other experienced folk say; Not very tight at all. Necessary tightness comes from tying and tightening the lines to the stakes.
