Tie strings at the bottom, no zipper. Not ideal...perhaps a start for a DIY.

Re: Is there a less expensive stand alone bugnet than ENO?

I bought a couple of these when they were on sale.

I have the eno and I have modified the heck out of it. I have it down to 10 oz but it is so hot inside. No breeze gets through it ans it just hold heat. It's no seeum netting and I do not need that so I have ordered some mosquito netting which has larger holes and breathes much better and I am going Fronky style.

    Ordered it from here http://www.mosquitocurtain.com/store/raw-netting.html

They have a nice comparison chart on the different types of netting, holes per square inch, air flow and such.

I bought a military surplus net for $19.95 and soaked it in Permethrin. It works (have it set up in the back yard now and will sleep with confidence tonight as on my recent trip to Arkansas) but it is heavy so ordered light weight nano-see-um from Zpacks for a DIY net that I envision: sewn on all sides but the head end, with which I will experiment: light weight magnetic snaps.

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16 NIV)

He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one." (Luke 22:36 ESV)

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (1 Thessalonians 5:3 ESV)

Here's a different twist on the fronkey style using curtains from wally world. Little lighter than the eno, and I made one up for $12, cord, fabric, and line loc. I think this individual is a forums member.
